Torreh is a periodical, officially permitted by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran. Hamid Kargar is the chief editor and manager and Davood Shadloo is the editor. Monitoring the latest news and events in the carpeting industry, Torreh exclusively reviews books, articles, critiques and historical reports, academic hypotheses, weblogs and internet-based activities that work on the Persian carpet. Regarding the carpet in its ties with economy and art, Torreh tries to develop education, promotion and advertisement techniques in the carpeting industry through innovative perspectives and scholars' points of views.
