A different presence for Persian carpet in Domotex 2015

The National Persian Carpet Centre provided a different program for the presence and introduction of handmade Persian carpet in Domotex 2015, in Germany.
An investigation into the way of presenting the Persian carpet in Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion in the previous international exhibitions of Domotex in Germany – as the greatest event concerning the floor coverings throughout the world-helped the experts this time to adopt a new approach .
With the presence of the managers of Domotex in Iran in the 23rd exhibition of handmade Persian carpet and some bilateral talks, a new initiative was devised for manifesting a new and different Domotex. Meanwhile, the union of Persian carpet importers in Europe, the Iranian Consul and Embassy in Germany and some experts and export activists of Persian carpet collaborated with the National Persian Carpet Center in this regard.
In Domotex 2015, in Iran pavilion, “Iranian Garden” was selected as the main concept in order to introduce the rich heritage of Iran in architecture, and also to showcase the interface between Iranian architecture and its carpet. Besides, the design of Iranian Garden as a symbol for paradise in Persian carpets was clearly manifested.
To this aim, the Iran pavilion in Hall 14 of Domotexexhibition , with an area of nearly 400 m2 ,witnessed a cultural and artistic effort – rather than a trade activity- to give just a glimpse of the rich elements of the Persian carpet.
Thus, 30 luxuriant, glorious Persian carpets from all over Iran illustrating the Iranian Garden as well as exhibiting a great diversity of design and style of Persian carpet were selected and exhibited in Iran pavilion along with a brochure representing a connection of Iranian Garden and Persian carpet with paradise.
One of the other arranged programs held in Iran pavilion was a specialized forum for discussions over Persian carpet and its advertising requirements in the European market.
Domotex exhibition of 2015 in Germany was held from 17 to 21 January 2015 in Hannover, Germany.
